Saddened to hear of Val Kilmer Val Kilmer passing today. It was an amazing experience to be a small part of this legacy ~ we adapted from his poems four cinematic poetry projects in collaboration w/ some of my favorite artists. When we spoke about poetry & he quoted Voltaire to me “Poetry is the music of the soul”. He expressed his love for the pieces and to see his poems in this way. Few might know how instrumental poetry was to Val’s journey as an artist from his audition for Juliard when he was 19 performing a poem he wrote himself, up until the “My Number” piece we collaborated on in 2022. The world will remember him for his transformations and for setting the screen ablaze with iconic characters. I’ll remember him for that too. For inspiring me as a young actor. But I’ll also remember him as a rebel poet & artist, that had the courage to collaborate with me, to take risks in this new age and to see the value of art beyond his own celebrity. RIP to a true legend, good luck on your next voyage my friend 🥀🔥

Tony on TV in America. When Tony made his ‘once in a lifetime’ trip to the US a few weeks ago he was so well looked after and, some of his trip was filmed by a station called Nine PBS - based in St. Louis. They were kind enough to send over the piece that they made and I was able to play it to Tony when we got together recently. It was hard for him to watch but it was beautifully. This is such an amazing talk from Dr. Erik Meijer (Erik Meijer, famous for his work on Visual Basic, C#, LINQ, Hack), on how LLMs upended his research, and are changing coding and what developers do. I've clipped some of my fave parts of his talk: - His team found that the specialized models they built to do codegen, and find/fix bugs at Meta were completely outclassed by ChatGPT. They were surprised that ChatGPT could write Hack code, despite it not being used widely outside of Facebook. (👩‍💻 Paige Bailey has talked about the phenomenon of Gemini and general-purpose frontier models outperforming and replacing older/smaller specialized models built over the years throughout Google.) 🪶OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS JUST HAPPENED! 🪶 So I am in my house and hear this huge bang! At first I think that the wind has slammed one of my doors shut, then I realize my doors were not actually open. I mean honestly it sounded like a large rock fell on my roof. So I go outside to look around and as soon as I open my backdoor, I see three crows fly off my roof. I'm looking up at the roof to see if I can see any damage (like, was this a chunk of meteor or what?!?), then I look down and see this gorgeous Hawk sprawled out on my patio couch (excuse the state of the cover - my dogs are up and down on it constantly - I need to pressure wash it). I realize that the crows must have been chasing him and the Hawk has flown into my back window there, full tilt. He allows me to gently love on him for almost 10 minutes - he must have been stunned. Eventually I try to pic him up and he flies over to my chair by my fire pit and just sits there (pics below) and lets me pet him some more. At this point I have something in the oven beeping that I need to take out, and as soon as I open my back door, Kali (my Chocolate Lab) comes charging out towards the Hawk and the Hawk takes off and flies away, seemingly no worse for wear. For those of you who have followed me for a while, you will know Hawk is my Totem ( I have a Red-Tailed Hawk Feather tattooed on my arm and I have had numerous awesome and amazing Hawk encounters - gifts of Hawk Medicine that I have documented on here), but this was the most beautiful, profound one yet. What an absolute blessing this encounter was for me (not so great for him/her), but I'd like to think that I nursed this Hawk gently through the worst of it. Best of all I got to share this moment with someone really important to me. Wow. I'm still stunned myself. Thank you Hawk for coming to see me and for your Divine Medicine - I hope you received mine. 💜

Loved my time with the Marvel Tōkon beta! I literally spent the entire time in the lab figuring the game out to see who i really like! Magnus and Black Panther are the two who mix with my style the most! Considering blade for his back assist since it has amazing synergy with Shuri/Magnus! Will figure out who i wanna pick for a full squad once the game officially drops but Mag/BP will be my bread and butter! The one thing I want tweaked a bit for me personally is for the assist to be more responsive in Combos/Offense. It feels like you just can't call assist at will in certain strings...you would have to confirm your hit/block for the assist to properly come out. Besides that...Tokon is MAD FUN and I cant wait to play on the full version with my stream chat and my friends! This is the last thing I found with BP before I had to board on my flight to paris!

It’s not often I’m lost for words, but when the sky around your aircraft explodes into a kaleidoscope of colours that are alive and twisting, it totally got me. Last nights display of the #Auroraborealis was utterly breathtaking. This is the first time I’ve managed to catch this as a video on my iPhone and it really doesn’t do it justice. I feel so privileged to be able to see these amazing spectacles from my office window and have the ability to share them by giving you a peek out of our office. It was like Santa was test driving his sleigh for the big night. For those interested, this was 38,000ft over Greenland going westwards to Vancouver at about 500mph. More pics later and hopefully just as spectacular views on the way home tonight. #Aviation #space #canada #avgeek #Santa #Christmas

This surprising footage was sent to me this morning it is from 1970, from the archives of Kan Archion. Here I demonstrate my abilities to bend and break metal with the power of my mind. The skeptic journalist brought some of his own pens 🖊️ spread them out on the table then I told him to chose one pen. The idea was to bend the clip of the pen which I actually have done in the past to the Prime Minister of Israel Shimon Peres (see photo). But for some reason this time it did not work, but even a more astounding thing happened ! Watch the video to the end. By the way as bizarre as it sounds in the past I have dematerialized pen 🖊️ cartridges under laboratory controlled conditions. The wife started complaining and told him not to come to the shop again because his presence drove customers away from her shop.
