From what it looks like the leading edge of the house split and redirected the flow around the building instead of letting the full force of the water slam into the whole building. Just my theory.

It wasn’t in the lowest part of the riverbed, had a deep foundation and a reinforced concrete frame — strong enough to resist water, rocks and debris. Even that house was flooded, but it survived because it wasn’t at the very bottom where the main force hit.

China was hit harder on its own side and still has hundreds of people unaccounted for. Its first responsibility is obvious: rescue its own citizens, restore access, stabilize the disaster zone, and prevent secondary casualties. That is what a functioning state is supposed to do. And even while dealing with its own losses, China still said it is ready to provide emergency assistance to Nepal if needed. Rescue first. Politics later. The people turning this disaster into anti-China content are the ones doing propaganda.

It’s kinda sad to see the vintage charm go to waste only for a new sanitized grey or black build to take its place. Why are we eliminating color from design and replacing it with BEIGE?😭🥺 Do you fancy anything about this house or is it a throw up disaster? I like it...ok I'm lying...I love it. 😁😏
