Weed being legal is something I’m still getting used to I guess

People are saying, “She’s only trying to look cool rolling in front of cops.” I mean, hell yeah. For years, people were getting locked up over a plant. There’s no better feeling than knowing they can’t mess with you over it anymore. The first day it became legal in Illinois and the dispensary opened, we saw a cop across the street. We ran up to him and asked him, “So you can’t arrest us for this now, right?” He said, “Nope.” So I asked, “Can we take a pic with you while holding it?” And he said hell yeah. Isn’t that what y’all want? To actually feel safe around cops? Years before that, if we saw cops, we felt fear. But the day it became legal, that energy was gone. Well… mostly gone, lol.
