I think something that makes your projects so special is how you hyperfixate on the way a specific mechanic works to the point that it ruins any chances of having a normal control scheme. Your vision is just too unique for modern peripherals

Haha that is a good way to put it. Lately I realized that every idea I have would have worked best on the Wii with motion controls

I wanted to do a fishing line game at some point too but the physics is still just too hard.

100%, incredibly hard to control things and I’m sure performance will be ass the more I keep going

@3m4lkALT Not so much regular fishing line, but the movement does pretty well resemble fly fishing line.

Are you using joints or a skeleton?

maybe add a button to stiffen the line?

the problem is possibly caused by not enough weight distribution at the end of the fishing line - comparing to its analog counterpart
