Man, I really miss SSX. I think I have an original copy. I might go play it. I don't know why they let that franchise die. When they switched from specific routes to kind of an open world mountain, it lost its juice.

Actually looks sick but an absolutely critical feature to try and add would be to have the background music be from your own playlists. Music was a huge part of the original game so being able to integrate your own would be so the best

space SSX with grapples sounds dangerously like the kind of thing my old roommates would've turned into a 2am grudge match. also this grappling hook one has the same movement-first brain itch

Could be fun, but it depends on the cast of characters you can play as. They all had so much personality and that was half of the experience.

If the soundtrack is as good as SSX3 100% would play it

I feel like ssx was the characters and the soundtrack more than anything. Yes besides those there was an insanely addictive game but that immersion is what makes it a GOAT…

My friend is making this and he has all the passion in the world, I highly recommend anything he makes! Will be supporting and watching this one!

The gameplay has the sauce. It just needs a good soundtrack to hook you in. I still love "Yellowcard - Way Away" because of SSX. Also character creation would be awesome, but I don't expect it considering how indie devs don't seem to keen on it for the most part.
