This indie dev is working on a feature to allow deaf players to visualize sounds in their FPS game... Through "ray tracing" and the use of colors. This is amazing

For anyone wondering if non deaf people would take advantage of this, the game mutes all sound once you toggle this feature

I think Fortnite already mastered this with their visualized sound effects setting Footsteps/shooting/balloons/grenades/healing/you name it, has a unique icon that appears on a 360 radial on your screen to let you know what's happening, and what direction

I love everyone complaining that everyone would use it and it would become unfair, you could easily code when this setting is turned on all sound is disabled
