@dfinity That's expected since $ICP is not big on defi. Doesn't make it any less valuable. Nvidia has no TVL, yet still valuable. People use ICP mostly for compute and hosting apps. That's where its value is derived from.

@dfinity ICP is a WORLD COMPUTER ... "DEFI" just came to the picture last couple month ... yet 47% is locked mostly for 2 years that is half a billion locked! I guess you can call that DEFI since people are earning 6-8%

@dfinity that ratio sounds terrifying on paper until you remember crypto runs entirely on vibes and developer cope. still, a 90x mcap to tvl gap is one hell of an uphill battle for the bid

@dfinity We can all agree that the internet is a great tool, but if you ask 95% of folks how the internet works, they have no idea how to explain it in technical terms. This is the fundamental condition that creates the playing field of crypto. One has to attract idiots, not the wise.

@dfinity The problem with ICP is they have tons of infrastructure, but they don’t have any customers worth a damn. And even with Mission 70, inflationary pressures will continue. Commercial usage sufficient enough to generate meaningful burns just isn’t there. ICP has an image problem.

@dfinity ICP is junk as an INVESTMENT. Pure junk. This garbage is minting 54,544 ICP a day according to API while only burning 2,055 ICP a day. That means the burns are offseting dilution by only 3.8% of ICP minted. AVOID sinking your money in this
