“Just because I didn’t get picked, doesn’t mean I wasn’t chosen” My mom always tells me “Favor ain’t fair”. My entire adult life it’s been my story. Passed over, rarely picked, & if I was never the first choice. Whether it was football, or now in my new career I’ve only prayed for opportunity. No matter when my phone has rang I’ve answered it like I was the first call in the green room on draft night. Same went for hosting Get Up! You’ll never control the when, but you’ll always control your how. You control how you answer, how you respond, & how you perform. All of your “How’s” should help them realize they should have called you sooner.
