This is 100% correct. Social media has changed everything, and the US government has grossly miscalculated the long-term impact of their unequivocal support for the Israeli genocide in Gaza.

It is happening. I didn’t realise the ignorance around Israel/Palestine until 7/10 happened. People are horrified at what they’re witnessing vs what they’re being told in the mainstream. The more they know the worse it gets. Social media is nightmare for western foreign policy.

Certainly social media has given a clear and real picture of the situation in Gaza, which they certainly did not expect; that is why they are now issuing measures that effectively censor freedom of thought and speech.

We see bombed children. We see precision sniper shots on an armed civilians. We see broken limbs and devastation that look like what hell is like. Then we see 🇮🇱 celebrating such atrocities. Then they lie there are no civilians and no mass distraction. The genocide has to END

Not only is the US losing the global street, Palestine is winning it. Despite generations of anti-Palestinian propaganda, people are standing up for them. And more importantly, the Arab diaspora is standing up for itself, refusing to be bullied into silence as 2nd class citizens.

“Average Joe” here, 💯 agree. Israel was always the “good guy” and I always had an excuse for any Biden/Dem flaws. Blissfully ignorant l was. This is different. This is the first live broadcast genocide in the history of mankind, & both parties are cheering it on.

Needs to be much more focus on The Lobby - how it has steadfastly worked & envagled its way into controlling foreign policy both Stateside & the UK
