Your dad @ScottPaterno sort of set the agenda for all conversations around the championship game - and the playoffs we’re about to experience. Was the Nebraska Penn State controversy the year your dad bought championship rings for the entire team or was that earlier?

He did it in ‘73 and ‘94.

There was a t-shirt running around Jan 1995 that said “undefeated, untied and uncrowned” in blue on the the front and “F**k Nebraska” in red on the back. Summed it up.
