This is a 2022 video, but still relevant. Currently, Capitec charges R10 per R1000 withdrawn at their atms. IT CHARGES THE SAME, EVEN IF YOU USE OTHER BANKS' ATMS. Please share for awareness!!! PS. Retail store withdrawals are now R2 per withdrawal.

@CapitecBankSA One of my cards is Capitec and I always assumed, those in queues to use the ATM, want to deposit money or withdraw a cash send.

We’re thrilled that @nubank has selected @Lightspark to bring the Bitcoin Lightning Network and Universal Money Addresses via the @umastandard to its platform and 100 million customers. We’re working with the Nu team on the technical integration and will have more to share in the future. Read more here: ⚡

@CapitecBankSA It's very difficult to withdraw money at retail stores honestly. Cashiers will constantly tell you they don't have enough money in their tills to assist. You'd rather go to the ATM and queue

@CapitecBankSA Weeehhheee bafo. Do you think they care these ones. They'll still stand 2hrs in a line to withdraw. Inyoka yaseCapitec works overtime

@CapitecBankSA They don’t care seems to be enjoying gossiping & basking in long queues. Not banking with Capitec but heard of this arrangement with other banks, still can’t get why they preferred their own ATM’s.

@CapitecBankSA It's no longer R10 bra, almost R20 for 1000

@CapitecBankSA Multiply the number of people queuing at retail stores by the number of items to scan, now that's the real queue at retail shops...👀🤷

@CapitecBankSA Capitec now charges R10 for every withdrawal below R1000. Even if you withdraw R100, you will be charged R10 for ATM withdrawal

@CapitecBankSA Nah bro, let the people withdraw wherever they want, it’s good for us Capitec investors, the more the clients withdraw at Capitec ATMs the more the R8s we get, the more our investments grows

@CapitecBankSA Siyabonga bhuti, it's so unnecessary uze ubadabukele.

@CapitecBankSA Cash send , Transfer, deposits less than 10% do card withdrawal
