I saw a cylinder UFO back in March of '78, it flew right beside me as I was driving home from 2nd shift on I-84 just outside Waterbury Ct. It was maybe 80-100' long, 15-20' thick and had three blue portholes on it's bottom, one green porthole on it's rear. I was flying right beside me on the other side of the highway, not 20' above the short trees, I could have thrown a rock and hit it, it was that close. I rolled down my window, but heard no sound. It was flying slightly faster than me, maybe 80 mph. As it got to the bottom of the long straightaway, there was a fairly sharp curve left (north). This object turned with the highway which really amazed me, so strange to see a rigid object turn. As I got to the bottom of this hill, I lost it in streetlights, as I was now entering Waterbury. I told my wife when I got home, she wanted me to report it, but I knew folks would think I was crazy. My father worked for the military, I grew up around air bases and have seen all sorts of aircraft, but nothing like this. I made a drawing in Paint years ago. Not an artist, but it will give you an idea. I have seen 2 other UFOs up close as well, very different from this one.

Not a lot of bird watchers report UFO/UAP activity despite looking up and staring at the sky a lot longer than most people (except astronomers). I wonder why that is? Probably because they get used to recognising planes, birds and other things regularly crossing the sky.

Is there an example of a bird looking like this he can compare it to? Thought not
