This is a classic example of “resulting.” This is a terrible read by the runner at 2nd and yet the announcer calls it a “heads up play.” I have a hunch the coaches weren’t altogether pleased with this “heads up play.”

Plenty to criticize with the play calling but MLF and Adam Stenavich have said even when they have a great play call against a favorable look - the Packers are getting the bare minimum. This is a perfect example of that.
