"This is a fascinating experiment that JJ Redick is maybe trying here." 👀 Kendrick Perkins and Brian Windhorst on the keys to the Lakers' defense over the past month 📈

@KendrickPerkins @WindhorstESPN Try it against the Celtics

@KendrickPerkins @WindhorstESPN Let’s game! 💯

@KendrickPerkins @WindhorstESPN This defensive philosophy has ZERO chance of succeeding in the playoffs. Zero.

@KendrickPerkins @WindhorstESPN How can they talk about a fascinating experiment when it's the players who miss an open shot?

@KendrickPerkins @WindhorstESPN Essentially, they're playing the numbers game. They allow their opponent worst 3 pt shooters to shoot. They take away easy pts that most teams get off the pick n roll by switching everything. And then they get back on defense immediately to take away teams transition pts.

@KendrickPerkins @WindhorstESPN Ah shit they learned mazzulla ball on d

@KendrickPerkins @WindhorstESPN 👍
