This library alone can make React the best front-end framework out there! There are a bunch of cool things I like about CopilotKit. Here are 3 of them: 1. It allows you to take any -powered agent and bring it into your application. (This is a brand-new feature!) 2. You can build an AI-powered chatbot in your application. The chatbot will have access to your context and can act on the application. 3. You can build a RAG workflow to process and answer questions from a real-time knowledge base. I can't stop thinking about this... Michael Caine on his defining philosophy on life: Use the Difficulty As a young actor, he was rehearsing a play scene when a chair got stuck in the door and blocked his path. He told the other actor he couldn't get by the chair to enter the room in the scene. The actor's response: "Use the difficulty...if it's a comedy, fall over it, if it's a drama, pick it up and smash it." This idea—of using the difficulty—became a defining mantra for Michael Caine's life. "There's never anything so bad that you cannot use that difficulty...if you can use it a quarter of one percent to your advantage, you're ahead, you didn't let it get you down." This idea hit me hard... How can you use the difficulty you're currently facing? How can you embrace the struggle? How can you find flow through the friction? This is absolutely the right advice Too many people come into the corporate workplace thinking they are a rebel and will change how things work The reality is that if you want to get ahead, you need to play the game that has been laid out You can opt out of the game if you wish and follow your own path Maybe once you are senior enough at the MD or PM level, you can try to change the culture But until then, learning to play it is your best bet of moving ahead in your career

A lot of interest in the post below. I know I come off as critical at times, but based on DM's a lot of people want to hear what I actually think about tackling. I get a kick out of being called a meathead, having my knowledge of the game questioned. The idea being you have to smack helmets and go live every day to teach tackling couldn't be further from the truth. This is a great example of how you can teach it and still get the right feeling. Shin angle, body angle, learning what it feels like to generate real force and drive through somebody, create a penetrating blow. Great way to work a cut tackle or chop tackle. Huge difference between this and running full speed at a stationary bag or tackle wheel and launching at it. Here, you have to create force to move it. You can't just launch. The resistance exposes technique. Do it wrong and it doesn't work. Safe and effective at any age, any level. I look at this and I can feel how it would make me a better tackler. I don't get that feeling launching at pads and tackling wheels. Just one idea. Think outside the box. Plenty of different, creative ways to do this, and some good drills out there. Keep an open mind. KIDS: When you lose the puck, how hard are you willing to work to get it back? As a coach, I want you to make plays. I want you to be creative. I want you to play with no fear of making mistakes. The only stipulation I have is that when you try to make a play and you turn it over, you have to work like hell to get it back. Here's a great example from a team that MAKES A LOT OF PLAYS. Tampa turns it over in the Ozone and then watch the effort from the players to get it back. Hounds. They create another turnover and then get rewarded in transition. Coaches, amazing clip to show your teams!!

🔌Today I created a virtual web-based null modem so now you can finally play Quake 1 (from 1996) in multiplayer in the browser with other people online! This week I was able to create a virtual printer that listens on the COM2 port to make a web-based printer work in Windows 3.11, like on you can actually print to, it was one of my ideas when I started but it was always too difficult to make, I had no idea where to start, but this week AI was able to do it! Today I woke up and thought "if we can listen to COM2 via JS, how about listen to COM1 from Quake 1?" then we could forward the COM1 data via Websockets and to another user to create a virtual null modem (A null modem was a cable you'd use to connect two computers to each other directly in the 90s, if you couldn't afford buying a network card you'd use this to network, but you could only play with one other computer not multiple) So I built it, it took about an hour and works! I wanted to get Quake 1 in DOS to work with multiplayer for 2 years but I could never get it to work, but now it did it This project is a good benchmark of how capable AI is becoming, figuring stuff out that humans would take months within an hour You can try it here, I don't know how it will match lots of people but let's see, you have to exit to DOS first (ALT-F4 or FN-Option-F4 on Mac), then type CD games, then CD quake, then quake, then ESC, then Multiplayer, then either Create New Game or Join Game, and use Direct Connect, keep settings same and you're in!

It's an app that works with every other macOS application and uses Claude Sonet 3.5 in the background—it also supports Gemini and GPT-4o. Here is the idea: You can use the tool to ask questions about anything on your screen. Or you can use it to autocomplete the text you are typing. You don't need to copy and paste anymore or waste your time providing context to a model. It sees what you see. It works right where you are. That's pretty cool. Here are a couple of cool examples: • Use it to reply to an email • Use it in the terminal to autocomplete a command • Use it to finish a document • Use to send a message on Slack AI at the system level is bonkers.
