A neat blur trick you can do that really helps is if you place say 8 blur nodes in a row. link all parameters except the blur radius. Then let the blur radius on each be half the one before it. finally set the mix to something really low like 0.02. then you get a very nice exponential glare.

definitely, I usually do 2 or 3 blurs if it’s for lens diffusion. If it’s just a grade sometimes I’ll just do whatever looks good, mixing expglows / blurs
