Exactly. And everything she talked about in that speech gets backed up by her record. She reduced crime, reduced incarceration and took her Back-on-Track program to other cities, too.

I say all the time that the reason I'm running is because I love my community and have seen beyond troublesome signs over the past 9 years. It's principles like those shown by Pierre Poilievre that convinced me to run. It's principles like those that make for true leadership and the kind of change this country needs. When our criminal justice system is a revolving door, Islamophobic attacks like this are more likely. A zero tolerance policy for violent criminals is the only sensible, common sense approach -- one that the Carney/Trudeau Liberals have continuously failed to uphold. Jail, not bail.
