Plays to its audience. Informative throughout. 761,000+ views. 130,000+ likes. Probably made about $500+ itself, too (estimate based on how my own experience with TikTok monetization for videos of this quality & duration). Rather than jetting to the Cromwell for an open bar after the Sony presentation, this creator delivered a timely, informative, engaging, and well-edited piece of content. There are completely different skill sets and the industry is evolving. Both sides should think about how they can learn from things like this and quit bitching at each other.show more

More on this same corner of megalithic wall in Cuzco. IMO the right way to go about building consumer apps is to validate the idea first via social media marketing. This is how I would go about it: 1) mockup the core screens via figma 2) figure out what the viral interaction is going to be. The more movement the better the retention of the video. 3) hire a content creator to pump out a bunch of different hooks you can test with. You’re going to stitch together the different hooks with the app demos YOU record. This will help lower the cost. If you’re non technical this is a cheeky way to go about making the prototype. Take this video for example. If you look closely you can tell that they literally overlay their static figma designs on top of ChatGPT’s voice chat feature to simulate their ideal interaction. Then they utilize TikTok captions to engage the audience even more. When you stitch your video together try to have multiple cuts within the first couple of seconds. This will also help with video retention. To be clear this is not my app. Just an example I found online.

The movie is about man’s evolution. in the closing parts of the film we begin to move beyond the limits of current human capacities of understanding - hence its surreal nature. We are able to glimpse and conceive of this area of human advancement to some extent. For example in the same way we can technically glimpse what a 4th dimensional object is through 3rd dimensional representations. it is however not able to be rendered fully by our current minds. So the movie depicts this with a long psychedelic experience that seems to mean nothing and e everything at the same time. The next stage of humanity is embodied by an enormous fetus that is larger than humanity’s homeworld. This is to both show the transcending of earth and its limitations as well as to demonstrate that this next phase is merely another beginning and not the end There is literally nothing else left that can be shown in the story of the human race - as everything beyond this point is impossible to even fathom - and the movie ends. That is my high school level description of the ending for anyone still confused

Literally every video has millions of views and likes. This particular video has over 1.2M likes and 12M+ views, all within just 5 hours. Not only this, every second video and every creator is covering this topic, and the government still hasn't spoken a single word about this, which is concerning.

This isn’t how you do a movie review. This feels less like genuine criticism and more like personal dislike coming through. There are so many reviewers who have criticised the movie for its story, dialogues, performances and other aspects, and that’s completely fair. But this particular review, in my opinion, goes a little overboard when the criticism becomes personal towards the actresses rather than being about the roles they played. Criticism is important and everyone is entitled to their opinion, but a review should ultimately be about the movie and help the audience form their own view, rather than becoming an outlet for personal opinions.
