It’s The $cience™️ that Helen is about, not actual science. She was very quick to judge KJK for not taking hormones….Almost too quick.🤔 Almost like her aim is that as many people as possible take hormones… Almost like she’s incentivised by the drug companies who supply them.

@melliellimelli I'm 63, I didn't have HRT, apparently my bone density is 'excellent' as is everything else. Looking at Webberley vs KJK, I know who looks healthier.

At 52 she will still have hormones. They might be lower due to onset or nearing menopause but hormones don’t just disappear.

They wane. They cannot be replaced by a male hormone profile to prevent the effects of this.

And I’m 60, I’m not on HRT and never have been and I’ve not had any problems. Infact never been better. I have long, thick glossy hair, clear, unwrinkled skin and not noticed my female parts vanish either. Maybe she should focus on herself instead of other women.

She of course forgets that HRT carries a cancer risk. When there is also a history of cancer in the family it simply isn't worth that risk.

My family has a strong history of cardiac issues and very little of cancer. That’s why I’ve chosen to take it- to protect my heart.

I respect your choice, it makes sense. But that woman, Helen makes no sense.

I’m on it, but as you say, it’s a choice. I made it as an adult and I’m replacing hormones which were natural to my younger body. Male hormones wouldn’t do that.

She claims children given puberty blockers go through opposite sex puberty when given cross sex hormones. I think her reasoning is all the girls who’ve had their puberty blocked won’t suffer the effects of premature menopause because giving them testosterone puts them through male puberty, ie they can grow a beard, get a low voice and can build more muscle mass. The woman’s a psychopath who makes her medical training and knowledge fit her narrative and reasoning for medicalising and destroying children’s healthy bodies. She deliberately ignores the vaginal, ovary and uterine atrophy, the osteopenia, the renal damage, the cardiovascular damage and the physiological and psychological neurological effects of frying a female’s entire endocrine system on high, male level doses of testosterone. She KNOWS about it though. Have no doubt about that. She chooses to ignore it.

Webblerley screws up believe it or not you can take calcium and magnesium if you are suffering from Osteoporosis, it does a better job than the drugs the doctor feed you only the doctors don't care about that particular side, they're lining their pockets like this stupid woman?

I’m not anti HRT - I take it myself. But that’s an informed adult choice. What I’m pointing out is the inconsistency of HW saying that female hormones should be replaced after the menopause, whilst effectively blocking their natural effects for life in children

It does make me wonder how you ladies survived the menopause before HRT was invented I believe she and doctor mengale might get on like a house on fire I am male but I get frustrated when I see women who think that they know better than other women at what should be best for them

@Free_ByTheSea My grandmother had menopause early, like me. She had osteoporosis, I’m taking HRT now to hopefully avoid it. Lots of women never need it though.

@Free_ByTheSea My ex had Osteoporosis. The drug they put her on ruined gastric system Boots calcium/magnesium in a 2 to 1 mix stopped the stomach probs She went from osteopenic back to normal in a year The scans proved that the minerals did a better job than the doctors drugs

How dare a woman age naturally! For millions of years, there was no HRT Menopause is not a disease, a defect, that needs treatment HRT is an OPTION for modern women, but not an obligation

I'll be 59 next month, 15 year postmenopausal. Never taken HRT. No osteoporosis or osteopenia and my vagina hasn't atrophied. No signs of Alzheimer's yet. We've turned normal aging into a disease.

She’s mental.

You know what perimenopause research is finally catching up with? How female sex hormones are necessary for proper functioning of every other system in the female body, down to the cellular level. Those cells have estrogen receptors. Not general hormone receptors, estrogen specific. And those receptors are not receptive to testosterone. So Helen is either a terrible doctor, or is lying when she suggests that a biological woman can recieve cross sex hormone therapy making her otherwise male without male genitalia.

I'm older than Kellie and I've never taken HRT and never will. I don't need that junk in me. I've never had a mammogram, as that traumatises healthy tissue. Currently the NHS is bombarding me with invites for lung cancer screening. Why? They even rang me the other day and even when I said I wasn't interested she asked me to do a 10 minute question screening over the phone. I said no. Why are they pushing this so hard? I don't smoke and I've never contacted my GP re breathing issues. All they want to do is plug you full of drugs.

What a sweeping generalisation this 'doctor' makes. My late mother passed away a few days before her 94th birthday. No brittle bones, no dementia and incredibly soft, smooth skin which everyone commented on. She never took any HRT.

She did seem to be suggesting that as long as you were given the opposite sex hormone you'd be absolutely fine without your own sex hormone. As if you wouldn't have the reproductive organs that DON'T react well to the wrong sex hormone
