One seller responds, ‘Kashmir is part of India. Why can’t we do business here?’ Well thousands of laborers work in Kashmir without facing mistreatment or being forced to chant religious slogans. WILL MY FATHER’S GENERATION OF INDIAN KASHMIRIS ANSWER - GEN-Z OF INDIAN KASHMIRIS: "Is this the PAKISTAN that my father’s generation of Indian Kashmiris fought for in the name of "Azadi" in the 1990s that completely destroyed India's Kashmir Valley ?" This is a very latest video that has come from Rawalakot city of Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir or PoJK, wherein one can see the dead body of a young Kashmiri Pahari Muslim man named Shafaqat Hussain, who originally hails from BHIMBER region of PoJK, which the Punjabi Muslim dominated state of Pakistan calls as so called "Azad Kashmir". He was shot dead by the dreaded and rogue paramilitary force of Pakistan known as - PAKISTAN RANGERS which is filled mostly by Pakistani Punjabi Muslims from mainland Pakistan's Punjab province. As you can see in the video, he was shot dead, despite Pakistani security forces having declared "cease fire". What is the worst ? The state of Pakistan has virtually closed down all major government hospitals in PoJK and also ordered private clinics in entire PoJK to close down, which means that severally injured Kashmiri Pahari Muslims of PoJK have nowhere to go for their immediate treatment and they are solely dependent upon makeshift medical centers set up by civil society of PoJK with bare minimum medical equipments and medicines. As an Indian Kashmiri Muslim, my question is to my father’s generation of Kashmiri Muslims: Is this the Pakistan for which you threw India's Kashmir Valley into the vortex of hell in the 1990s by throwing out all Kashmiri Hindu Pandits and allowing Pakistani guns to enter India's Kashmir Valley and destroy an entire generation of Kashmiris ? #WATCH || We are not against reservations. We are against killing merit. The actual #scam is within the reservations. If 100 aspirants appear in an exam, 40 is for open merit and 50.78 are from Jammu and 9.22 are from #Kashmir. Even before you apply reservation, Kashmiris are already crowded out. Biggest culprit are Kashmiri officers. I don't know whether they don't issue these certificates on their own or is policy. NC handle had tweeted that Reservation Committee will submit report within 6 months, but in Assembly Govt says there is no timeline: Sajad Lone in a presser conference J&K People’s Conference Youth JKPC

Farooq sahab’s statement implicating Kashmiris in the Pahalgam terror attack is deeply disturbing & regrettable. As a senior leader that too as a Kashmiri his statement risks fuelling divisive narratives providing ammunition to certain media channels to further stereotype & stigmatise Kashmiris & Muslims. This isn’t only misleading but fatal at a time when students & traders from J&K are already facing heightened vulnerability & attacks. We should draw inspiration from Himanshi Narwal who despite the martyrdom of her husband urged Indians not to blame and target Kashmiris or Muslims.
