Old people and their knowledge should be cherished and remembered. So much lost art and skills with the older generation. True pioneers.

Wow, she got amazing skills

You see kids.. people used to be able to do amazing things before they gave us this little black box to stare at all day

I believe it is called 'tatting'. And, yes it is extreme serious skill fer sure. I knew a woman, back in late 1990's who made for her grandson's wedding gift, of a handmade 'tatted' 'lace table cloth' for a large dining room table. Her name was Margaret O'Reilly and at that time she was about 95yrs old. Her son was/is a Professor of law at (I think NorthEastern Univ in Boston) with a prominent grandson in the medical cancer field too. She was one of my fave ppl at that time.

Cleaning the waterways is quite satisfying to watch

Arthritis ain’t got nothing on this lady 💪 love to see it

When I was a kid, i went to Dollywoood and watched ladies make lace. I must have sat there for hours just fascinated with how they did that. Family finally made me leave as they had seen everything else. Then I walked up to a glass blower and blew the rest of the day.

Amazing slicing skills

And when she passes away it's probably forever lost

The patience and attention to detail
