The officiating is so bad but if we say anything, rivals we’ll say we’re making excuses. Our press wasn’t good enough regardless but the ref was BAD

All this crap could be avoided if the replay refs and the on-field refs were completely separate groups. When your buddy you ref with on the same crew is VAR for the day, he’s going to cover for you.

As I’ve noted elsewhere Ballard challenge such a clear penalty that not a single Arsenal player appealed (and let’s be honest they didn’t waste any other opportunities to appeal/complain!). the players know what is a bad challenge and they didn’t think it was here.
