Mate, I was saying this the other day! It’s not talked about enough. In my town, where the minorities live, the parking is atrocious. They park on double yellows, in the road, on the pavement, on the corner at junctions blocking the view; it does my head in! You will never see the traffic wardens up there either.
Yup, everything is two tier now. A) They know the fines will not be paid B) They assault the parking wardens so they are reluctant to even go to the areas

It was my understanding that the fire service would simply push vehicles blocking roads like that out of the way with the fire engine.

I was under the impression that the Fire Brigade are the only emergency service allowed to ram vehicles out of the way !

This happens a lot in cultures which do not think about the future needs of others. Considering a hypothetical future and helping anonymous others is a unique cultural and psychological combination.

A local driving test must be required for all those who have a non UK licence.
The fire department have the power to move a vehicle by any means necessary if a vehicle is obstructing their path in an emergency.

In the part of Brum I used to live in you would daily see these specimens obstructing the main road (a main arterial route) and performing 37-point turns.

My brother in law lives in a community that they parachuted a bundle of Afghans and Syrians into. Overnight, the road was filled with Junker cars. He came from home one night and found a Syrians car in his driveway Primitives 🤬

Used to happen regularly in Sheffield when there was a funeral. The emergency services said the same but Police and council wouldn’t listen. One day a properly pissed off van driver got through but at the cost of several wing mirrors.
@MarkFra58718197 When my dad was teaching me to drive, he always mentioned, could an emergency vehicle get through there, and it’s always something I’ve remembered, and utilised obviously. These selfish &&&&s should get fined, then charged.

I once saw firemen get out of a fire engine and lift a small car to one side and then push another car out of the way. I asked if they were allowed to do it and they said that's why fire engines have big bumpers 😃
I think it was brum when I first saw double parallel parking. I was baffled. whoever's the second driver that parked needs to get their license revoked. There's no way you decide to close the gap

Even more worse is that the third world owners of the cars, will have noticed through the front windows of the house and still do nothing. The fire engines need to have massive guards at the front and it should be law, they can just smash through cars parked like this!

@Rubyleo1991 Bigger or bull bumpers need fitting 🤔 and illegal parking are liable for any damage caused to any emergency vehicles.

Get this every school day when parents park wherever they want and the council too scared to send their wardens to ticket. Parents from all walks of life - it’s simply entitlement not thing to do with anything else
