This is a thread about dogs but it’s also for anybody who suffers from depression, anxiety, addiction or who has a hard time navigating life. I rescue dogs and this is little Eve today. She hasn’t stopped running all day and it will make you smile non stop (1/4) 🧵

You probably know me from the dog stories. Like little Billy, Valentina, Hank, Eve, Shaq and many more who cross my path. I share them to put a positive spin on the world and to try change the lives of street dogs globally. But I also suffer from depression and anxiety (2/4)

I actually started this mission after nearly drinking myself to death. I was an alcoholic and addicted to Valium etc for 20+ years. It was the huge shock I needed to say that enough was enough. I wanted to share something openly… (3/4)

I made my most honest video ever today. It covers… 🧠 Mental health and how I try to win that battle 🍺 What caused it and what the triggers are to make it worse 🐶 Managing the stress of helping so many dogs at scale and the emotional side of that 💊 What I do on a day to day basis 😬 What panic attacks truly are and how I manage them if I get one It sounds like a depressing video but it’s not. It’s hopefully the opposite. I’m so lucky that I can talk openly about this stuff and have no one to really answer to.
