This is a very unnecessary & untrue statement that Uganda liberated South Sudan from north Sudan. We recognise the fact that Uganda was a close ally of the SPLA during the liberation struggle with interest also. Football is about uniting people not the politics of divide. #SSOT

Ananya started before the independence of Uganda Dr. John Garang's plane was switched in Uganda when it was time to pay up for that support but they were asking for too much & Dr John Garang said NO Uganda did send invading active troops but they were crushed by soldiers from the south, north, west, east & the center of Sudan & Uganda never ever tried invading again until 2022

Ugandan Airforce Supports President Salva Kiir’s Government in Emergency Humanitarian Aid Operation Kampala, Thursday, 29 May, 2025 The Uganda People’s Defence Airforce (UPDAF) has in the past few days airdropped hundreds of metric tonnes in emergency food aid to hard-hit areas of South Sudan’s northern Upper Nile State where thousands of displaced people are currently living in famine conditions following the outbreak of armed violence in the region earlier this year. The humanitarian aid deliveries provided by a coalition of international partners is airlifted by UPDAF from Juba International Airport to the Ulang and Nasir Counties of the Upper Nile state. Since March 2025, fighting has pitted the government’s South Sudan People’s Defence Forces (SSPDF) against the Sudan People’s Liberation Army In Opposition (SPLA-IO), a Nuer tribal militia group that is allied to incarcerated 1st Vice President of South Sudan Dr Riek Machar Teny Dhurgon. The SPLA-IO, also known as the White Army, is accused of conducting widespread massacres against the rival Dinka communities and other ethnic groups in the region. [WATCH] With regards to the AbaThembu King we don’t support his stance on Isreal. We don’t support Israel as the ANC. What the king is doing is a betrayal of our solidarity with the Palestinian people. Doing arrogantly and blatantly like that is unbelievable, especially as somebody who comes from a struggle background. He was in exile and his father a stalwart of our liberation struggle, the fact that he can simply forget all of that and side with a state that kills people. If he went to Israel and Palestine we would understand. But to insult the cause of the Palestinians in Israel is a betrayal. #ANC114

While passing out 9,690 Local Defence Personnel at Kaweweta, it was good to find out that over 5000 of them have A’level certification. With this level of Education, it is easy to learn, because modern warfare has a lot of science and educated people learn easily. I am therefore happy, this is very good for the army and the country. To the new graduates, you have entered a noble institution that succeeded right from FRONASA days because of the ideology of patriotism- Love for Uganda. Uganda is more important than your tribe and religion. Uganda values you the way you are, you should also value Uganda. I wish you good luck.
