If anyone thinks this is a red card they have no clue about football 😂😂😂 1. It’s not even a foul 2. Even if it is gave as a foul it’s not a yellow card foul 3. Episode 2 — this time a panel discussion Ibrahim Faisal is no longer a national embarrassment. He’ll soon become a regional embarrassment. 1st half is him reading from a paper, 2nd half is without it. He can’t even pronounce the words properly. 2nd half it’s full of broken English. He can’t form a sentence properly. Incorrect grammar and incorrect prepositions everywhere. Why do taxpayers have to fund these people? Is this what we Maldivians deserve? Why is our president giving jobs to incompetent and uneducated people like him just cause he is someone’s child? Abdul Raheem Abdulla himself is uneducated. His son is no better or worse than him. Foreigners watching this would think this is how an average Maldivian speaks in English but we know that it isn’t. An average Maldivian speaks competent English. Most of our kids who are growing up now even speak English like native speakers with fluency and accuracy. We’re an educated nation. We don’t deserve this. Dr Mohamed Muizzu promised competent people when he campaigned for presidency last year. People voted him for competency. People trusted him. i just hope tian is okay right now. with all the false accusations and everything that’s been happening, i can’t even imagine what he must be going through. it honestly breaks my heart thinking about how overwhelming and hurtful this situation must be for him. i really hope he knows that so many of us truly don’t care about his past relationships at all. he is a grown adult and his personal life is his own. what matters to us is the person he is, the work he does, and the happiness he brings to so many people. and the truth is that tian has already shown multiple times that these accusations are false. even a lawyer pointed out that what he posted was not just a simple lawyer’s letter but a case notice stating malicious fabrication. in the entertainment industry most celebrities usually sue for defamation of reputation, but accusing someone of malicious fabrication is much more serious. yet even with official statements and legal action, some people still choose to ignore it and keep spreading rumors as if random posts online were more believable than documents with an official seal. that’s why this situation feels so frustrating and unfair. no matter what proof is shown, some people will still try to twist the narrative. but there are also many of us who see what is really happening and refuse to believe these rumors. more than anything, i just hope he is surrounded by people who support him and that he’s taking care of himself. i hope he knows there are still so many people sending him love and standing by him. at the end of the day we love him for who he is, not for some perfect image people try to force on him. he deserves peace and support, especially during a moment like this. 🤍

This is the guy you give all this money to and he doesn’t even know the basic facts about a team. ESPN can sit here all day and tell me his ratings. People are “hate watching”. Or even worse, they are watching to mock how bad it is. It’s akin to the later years of Mike Francesa at WFAN. Where people watched to hear the crank calls or to watch him falling asleep at the mic. Guys, I’m broken. I am sitting here in tears, and I can't hold it anymore. This country breaks people in ways you never think possible. I have looked for words since yesterdat but I couldn't find any until this video. I have just watched Ssegirinya Muhammad crying, asking why anyone would tie him to such grave crimes like murdering people in Masaka — his birthplace — all because of politics. And honestly, I don’t think I have ever been this heartbroken over anything in Ugandan politics. This man gave up his whole life to serve people. From the moment he became an MP, he didn’t start by “dusting himself off” like most of our leaders do. He didn’t focus on buying fancy cars or securing his own comfort. No. He went straight to work for the people who voted him in. He started projects to help the poor, to take care of the sick, to make life a little easier for the struggling families that elected him. He was different. He cared in ways we don’t often see in our leaders. And how did we, as a country, pay him back? We watched as the system came after him. We watched as he was accused of crimes so ridiculous it hurt to even listen. Murder? Really? They accused him of killing his own people in Masaka. And we said nothing. We just looked on as this man’s life was destroyed bit by bit. We saw his health deteriorate in prison, and we kept quiet. We saw him being denied bail even when those closest to him told us he needed urgent medical treatment. We all remember that judge in Masaka who saw him on a Zoom call from prison and still said NO to bail. The Prisons commissioner told us they have the capacity to treat him in prison even when we later learnt that the whole of this country couldn't treat him. I mean, how can someone see another human being suffering like that and still refuse them a chance to get help? No, guys, NO. Ssegirinya is gone. He’s dead. And this wasn’t just nature taking its course. This wasn’t God’s plan. This was us. This was the system. This was our silence. Our looking the other way. We are complicit. We watched the government persecute a man for standing with the people. We watched them destroy him because he cared more about serving than about playing the political game. We let this happen. And now he’s gone. I keep asking myself — is this what politics in this country has come to? Destroying so many people just to stay in power? Locking up anyone who threatens the status quo without any crime? This is not normal my friends, NO. We can’t just move on from this. A man is dead because he chose to serve his people. He gave everything he could to make life better for his people. And in return, he was fought, persecuted, humiliated, and denied basic human decency. We should be ashamed. Ashamed that we let it get to this point. Ashamed that politics in Uganda has become a death sentence for anyone who tries to stand up for the oppressed. And it’s not just Ssegirinya. How many more lives have been lost? How many more are wasting away in prisons right now for simply demanding a better country? Politics should never take us to this point. And to the people who still defend this system — I honestly don’t have words!
