She should put her hand in the yellow water to show it’s absorption 😂

Chlorine breaks down rapidly with salt from hands especially at very low concentrations like city water. (Like 1/10,000 that of pool water) Ie. The glass full had no catalyst to deactivate even the minute amount. Her hand (oils, salts, ect) quickly overcame the tiny amt CL

She didn’t whirl it around the same way she did the other one…

So you’re saying that I could just clean it with my hand and drink it dope

Better never go swimming in a pool 😂

swimming in a pool every now & then isn’t the same as using household water everyday😭 … ?

I really shouldn't have to say this but if you are trusting homemade science experiments by non-scientists making claims they don't backup or even fully explain properly then you are not gonna make it

She puts something on her fingers to deactivate the chlorine, like sodium thiosulfate. It's 1000% impossible for her to absorb 100% of that chlorine in that cup, especially in seconds. Fraud.

eww, does she not bathe? you realize chlorine is a & water purification agent, dont you? the concentration in your drinking water also isnt high enough to do any harm. that said, regardless of where you live, youre consuming chlorine every day, unless your food is bland AF

@BROWARDBABYLEE So she just demonstrated that the chlorine (bleach) did it's job by helping to disinfect her hands.....

So I’m just not supposed to shower? Like dammit we are tired

if this was the case humans would be bleeding pools dry of their chlorine content on a constant basis because they would just be regularly absorbing it as they spend long amounts of time in it. especially if it's absorbing as fast as she says.

Do use a water filter for drinking water. However the water in the US is generally very good for showering. After spending significant time abroad, when I return to the US I always notice the showers get me cleaner and the water literally even smells cleaner. Feels and is better.

is this bitch crazy? the chlorine didnt magically appear in hand after she lifted her hand and didnt place it back.

Chlorine breaks down as it encounters biological matter like bacteria, viruses, and fungus all of which are present on her hands in some capacity. She has not absorbed it. It has simply dissipated. If she put a piece of glass with bacteria on it the results would be the same.

"My hand absorbed the chlorine." Of all the possible explanations, that's probably the least likely.

Well water. Here’s the answer. I can’t believe people actually still consume chemically treated toilet remains….. I used to work for a well drilling & pump company. At times I had to inspect pumps in large housing developments. It is unreal what is still in the water people drink — plus the chemicals they add to make it look & smell “clean.” Just because you can’t see it — doesn’t mean it’s not there…….

I’m literally addicted to the tap water from my town. Nothing tastes better 😭

Survival tip of the day: Install a whole-house water purification system if you’re on city water.

Chlorine killed all the nasty germs on your filthy hands and it's therefore neutralized. These nutcases need to be moved to an island. There are more and more of these. Must be the water, no puns intended.

But it's just water tho?

@grok pretty sure it's a thousand percent impossible for her fingers to absorb 100% of that chlorine in seconds. How likely is it that she put sodium thiosulfate on her fingertips to deactivate the chlorine?

Also consider hot steaming showers just increases the absorption. -You are inhaling it too! Start writing letters to local Governments to get this cleaned up! They are suppose to protect us from this stuff, not help their corporate "health" companies, make the tax payers sick and future customers!

Tap water contains chloramines, not chlorine. It's more stable and requires more advanced treatment than just filtering or leaving the water out to outgas the chlorine. Using sodium/potassium metabisulfite or reverse osmosis filtering are the 2 easiest ways for it to be removed

It took awhile for the first glass to turn yellow and the second glass she swirled like twice. She should've kept missing the second one as she talked. Not a controlled experiment. @neiltyson would not approve

Go to type in your zip code and see just how much harmful & cancerous things are in your tap water! Warning ⚠️ once you see it, you can't unser it!

Ok but how does she bathe

OMG seriously 😒

Why is chlorine bad if it’s just chloride?

I hope nobody tells her there are also germs on every single thing and that she swallows quite a few bugs each year without even knowing it.

I swear, people have too much time in their hands...

Liar

third world country

She didn’t tell us how she does shower though
