I am convinced they do it on purpose to get repeat business out of people who think they cracked the code of *checks notes* paying $30 for 1 1/2 racks of ribs at lunch.

People keep coming back and ordering this because they think they're cheating the system, when actually ....

Plot twist: This guy is a social media marketing rep for Chili’s and they’re about to sell out of ribs.

He’s only half-Jew but good god damn this man is on fire with some savings.

Congratulations, you cracked the code. Ribs have a long end and a short end. Those half-racks are all from the short end, and have wider flatter bones. They don't have as much meat as the long ends, witch go to the full-rack, or the alacarte half-rack. Short end half-racks are always harder to sell on their own, hence the "combo" portion. With options that make you want to order at least 1 portion of ribs. Welcome to the restaurant buisness.

Tried this and the Chili’s waitress pulled a gun on me

i can atest to the validity of this finding. jake is for the people

JFC can this guy just shut the fuck up? We can read.

people not realizing your edit of the first frame is insane

You can even order online and grab 3 half racks of ribs. Quigs MVP 🏆

“If you able to do math at a second grade level” blocks a majority of people

For years I would get the French toast sticks at Burger King when I was up early enough for the breakfast items. They used to charge $2.50 for 5, but 3 went for $1.00. So you could get 6 French toast sticks for $2.00, or 5 for $2.50. I asked every time I ordered 2 orders of the 3 sticks if everyone else did this too, and they said nobody ever did. The world is full of idiots. (You may have also seen a popular post in the past about how restaurants had to switch their burgers back down in size from 1/3 to 1/4 pound because people thought 1/4 > 1/3. World…idiots.)

Until they tell you you’re not allowed to pick an item more than once. LMAO

Stop eating slop. Swine is abomination.

Hint: they have different sized half racks Used to work at Texas Roadhouse and they have a full rack, half rack, and a smaller version It’s a little deceiving but if you get 3 “half racks” it will just equal 1 full rack therefore it’s the same price

It is insane… He just spent $28 on ribs, fries and mac n’ cheese and claimed he got free food.

This is called “the decoy effect”. @grok go ahead and explain it.

You are their perfect customer lol you saw this exactly as they wanted you to😂

Get an insta pot. Buy ribs from the store. Hella brown sugar, 15 minutes...... Best ribs of your life.

Painfully obvious that most people that choose the pick 2 or pick 3 aren’t going for 3 half racks. I’m sure they’ve run the numbers, it wasn’t a mistake, they are playing to the majority if I had to guess.

all I could see was the calories. OMG!

Just shows you how low their cost are on those ribs. Giving up a half rack of ribs at cost and still making 60% margins off your ass lol. Eating poison son.

this guy thinks he figured it out but the restaurant has the food cost/price setup so they are making money regardless of how you combo things. beyond that the "free" ribs are most likely the less desirable ones that are more bone and less meat.

Can’t trust anything that comes from quigs. This is for sure another AI post

Value added! @kdhochman

If you get ribs at Chili's I'm concerned on what you think good ribs are.

"You can just get free food" Then shows a video literally not getting free food.

Dude is devoted to chilis 🌶️ let’s fucking goo!!!!!!

That was the dumber example. The better one is going to the choose 2, taking 2 halfs and saving $4

Trying to out Jew Jongerius

Yeah but they got rid of 2 for 1 beers so that place is fucked

Was just there and noticed this but didn't want ribs

can do second grade math ✅ can do a pull door instead of push to get in ❌

Get him on the red lobster menu, how do I get close to what I used to get on endless shrimp.
