This is actually positive behavior between cats if they’re not hissing or actually like fighting fighting this is just playing. He’s actually really gentle with the baby. It’s kind of like teach play

I watched my cat as she grew up ‘fighting‘ with my two dogs ten times her size and both dogs would kindly freeze and wait for her to retract her claws from a lip or eyelid before resuming. There was no yelping or crying or anger. Yes, it’s play.

I had 2 male cats both from same litter. They played like this their whole lives. They'd be attacking each other and the next thing I'd look and they were giving each other baths. One of them has since passed and I miss their play.
