Americans are not ready to watch sons and daughters hunted by FPV drones. Some may not like this post, and that’s OK. Some may see this as being a “panican,” and that is also OK. My tolerance for American blood being spilled is very, very low. But this needs to be said: If you have paid any attention to the war in Ukraine, you will know how drone warfare has escalated. You will have an understanding of the sophistication of the Ukrainians and Russians in their pursuit of hunting and killing each other with human-guided robots strapped with explosives. We know Russia and Iran share military ties; hell, the most common form of long-range standoff munition used to target Ukrainian infrastructure is an Iranian-designed Shahed drone. Now, are the Iranians as sophisticated as the Russians? No. But will a ground action result in grainy videos of Americans being hit by FPV drones? Almost certainly. Could the deployment of ground forces to the Gulf be a feint? Sure, it could be, but this point extends beyond Iran. The U.S. needs to be ready to counter the drone menace. I won’t pretend to know the inner machinations of the Joint Chiefs, the White House, or President Trump, but with the destruction of an E-3 Sentry on the runway, it has become absolutely clear the U.S. armed forces have not scaled their ability to handle drones. I don’t know what the answer here is, but I haven’t seen this point brought up at the frequency it deserves. It needs to be said. We are not ready for footage of American soldiers and Marines cowering in their last moments, set to some upbeat pop song or some cleric screaming praises to Allah.

Slow Progress is the New Reality of Modern Wars There are many people commenting on Russian difficulties and coming up with numerous reasons for their alleged collapse. I absolutely do not see any collapse; on the contrary, Russia has already normalized a state of war in Ukraine, which boosts its economic and industrial growth. The difficulties faced by Russia today are the same as at the beginning of the war, with soldiers having to spend up to half of their initial salaries on their own equipment, delays in pensions, and a series of other problems that are mirrored on the Ukrainian side, even with all the support from allies. The war today is much less lethal than it was months ago, and both Russian and Ukrainian losses have significantly decreased during this phase. Lethality has fallen, but Russian advances persist. And why are they slow? Is it a Ukrainian tactic? No. They are slow because they are accompanied by the deployment of communication infrastructure like signal repeaters for drones, the advancement of artillery guided by drones, maneuvers using FAB and more recently ODAB bombs against Ukrainian drone operators' facilities, infiltration by reconnaissance teams, saboteurs, and a series of protocols they have developed. That conventional war with rapid advances no longer exists, and in the context of a battlefield dominated by drones, it is unlikely to return. Chinese Swarm Drone Systems: 48 and 96 Drones Some time ago, I wrote about the evolution of autonomous systems and how only the Chinese were truly making progress in this field. After starting serial production of the Swarm-2, which features 48 drones and real-time tracking, they are now testing a version with 96 drones. These are divided into three categories: reconnaissance, jamming, and attack. Each drone can carry a variety of payloads, including electro-optical reconnaissance, strike munitions, and relay communications. They can be flexibly combined into different operational groupings, forming multifunctional swarms capable of complex missions. These drones have an individual range of 15 to 50 km, but the manufacturer claims that by maintaining a swarm network communication, this range is significantly extended. This strongly reinforces what we discussed a while back: that future wars will be dominated by drone systems that will severely delay any ground troop advancement, as already evidenced by the conflict in Ukraine.

World Models are the path for some AI Models in the future. But how can we efficiently train these models to not only see the world the way humans do but to see the world in a new and unique way. By visualizing, what is normally sequenced audio patterns, we can derive much more insights. Here we see Paganini in a visual form that can than be described and transcribed into a World Model. We can observe connections in a manner that may not have been clear prior to the digitalization of music and sound in this way. The company with the most valuable potential in building a World Model is Tesla. Not that this type of visualization is being used, but that the mechanisms are in place, and the technology is in place for the company to thrive in this new form of AI.

Geran-3 drones generally fly at a speed of around 550 km/h, compared to the Geran-2's 185km/h. Production for Geran-3 drones has skyrocketed recently (alongside that of the Geran-2) resulting in significantly higher usage, especially on targets in Sumy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, and Poltava Oblasts.

US Politicians now moving to ban DJI drones from the US market for “national security threats” 🤯 DJI is the #1 drone manufacturer in the world 🌎 but sadly politics could potentially ban any future drones from being imported and possibly grounding current drones inside the 🇺🇸 You can’t make up how ridiculous US politicians have become against China. Today, I had a substantive meeting with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer. Our main objective right now is to stop Russian terror and force Russia into peace. We discussed the development of defense cooperation. Collaboration in this area will allow Ukraine to receive stable funding for important projects, particularly the production of interceptor drones and long-range drones. There is a good outcome from today’s meeting – an additional decision on joint production. I believe it will strengthen both of our countries. Special attention was paid to bolstering our air defense. We also have agreements on this. Thank you! An important issue is the introduction of new sanctions against Russia. Pressure must be applied to the energy and banking sectors, the shadow fleet, the companies that supply dual-use components used in the production of drones and missiles, as well as all those involved in the production of the “Oreshnik” missile system. Anything that helps Putin scale up weapons production must be blocked. I thank Keir Starmer and the United Kingdom for leadership and for all forms of support that help Ukraine protect lives and shield our people from Russian terror.

The visit to Denmark begins with an important step for our defense. An agreement has been reached on Ukrainian-American cooperation in drone production, including interceptor drones — a crystal clear priority. We have signed an agreement with the robust American company Swift Beat, and it foresees hundreds of thousands of drones this year alone, with the potential to significantly scale up production in the coming year. Attacks on Ukrainian Ports: A Very Notable Observation... A very notable observation. Just now, the Russian Ministry of Defense has reported that two more cargo ships, traveling from the port of Chornomorsk to the port of Odesa, have been struck by our drones. Thus, the number of ships hit in the past three days has risen to eleven. But that's not the important part. What's important is the route they were taking. And also, the morning news that a tanker, also traveling from Chornomorsk to Odesa, was hit by our drones yesterday. Why is the route so important? Let's look at the map. It's obvious that coastal shipping between Chornomorsk and Odesa makes no sense. The distance between the ports is only 20 km, and it's much easier to transport goods by rail and road. Therefore, the reason for this sudden influx of "civilian" ships from the port of Chornomorsk to the port of Odesa is different. And I believe it's all because Kyiv is very afraid of our attacks on the ports. They understand that if this continues, they will lose their last access to the sea. And, as the past few days have shown, they clearly don't have enough air defense systems to protect themselves. Therefore, as a hypothesis, I suggest that they are moving everything they consider important to the port of Odesa, in order to try to organize air cover for their own ships there. Why do I say "their own" and not "foreign" ships? Because Kyiv, like us, has its own "shadow fleet" of ships that are supposedly foreign-flagged. These ships have been converted into... carriers of Bayraktar drones, and other types of drones, etc. And these ships are now our main target (for destruction). This will sharply complicate the enemy's ability to attack our facilities using drones. And incidentally, we are indeed depriving the enemy of access to the sea. So that they can no longer receive not only military supplies, but also civilian goods through the ports of the Odesa region. Plus, they won't be able to export their own products.
