I wonder if Spelljammer (1989) was inspired by Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors (1985) as there was no mention of Spelljammer in any articles before 1989 and zero spaceships powered by magic before Spelljammer. Mmmmmm

It's not underrated to 80's kids. It's on par with Thundercats. It's no Galaxy Rangers or Visionaries, but it was good.

The action figures were pretty sweet too. 😍

I couldn't agree more, and I watched SilverHawks on Cartoon Network in the early 2000s... On that note, I think JMS might've been inspired by the design of Hawk Haven when he created Babylon 5...

It was straight after watching this series that i first punched my fist directly through 3 inches of plate steel. I've never lost that ability.

I loved the silverhawks but underrated you have to include The Galaxy Rangers!!!

A cartoon intro had no business going that hard. It literally has a bad ass guitar solo.

This artstyle.. I Kinda miss it. its such a beautiful artstyle. Also.. 80 animes were something else.

It's only underrated for those that haven't had the pleasure to experience Silver Hawks
