What is it these people don't get? It's not about the result. It's about the actions of this government. Actions that had they been known before hand labour would be nowhere near power.

It's not about "not accepting the result". It's about recognising we were lied to and the result would actually have been very different if @UKLabour had actually been honest about what they would do once in power. We've been had.

This is not about “not accepting the result” - that’s what the hard left did after Brexit. This is about holding a government who has lied their way into power to account. Integrity is not something they understand is it?

These are not ordinary circumstances & another GE is not the reason why most people have signed the petition. If a government blatantly reneges on it’s manifesto pledges, then naturally expect what is actually a very polite, peaceful digital revolt. The fact that this has engaged the apathetical into looking more deeply into how the country & its politicians are dismantling it, has actually overachieved its intended objective.

I don't think anyone is protesting the result, that was the Remain mob who just wanted to revote til they won. This is a protest against the govt! We vote repeatedly for Govt, based on various criteria that trigger a vote. Result was accepted, now people are voicing their disgust
