A Jazzman’s Blues was the first movie I ever wrote. It took me 27 years to make it, and after I finished making the film and released it to the world, I felt a kind of grieving in my spirit. I soon realized that this is what can happen when you hold onto a dream for so long and finally see it come to pass. In all honesty, I wasn’t sure what was next. Of course, I would continue doing what I was known for, but I didn’t have that next thing in my heart—until Ambassador Nicole Avant called me about The Six Triple Eight! I’m so glad she asked me to do this movie. It gave me the excitement and hope I needed to keep moving forward. We can’t wait for you to see The Six Triple Eight! Opening this Friday in select theaters and streaming worldwide on Netflix on December 20th. This one is for EVERYONE!

The age old debate about which grade gas to use for me is irrelevant. I feel that while 87 is cheaper, you get worst gas mileage. While 93 is more expensive, you get better gas mileage. The different in price may only be a few bucks if it’s even that high. What I would like to see is one grade that’s safe for all cars new and old. I never liked the idea of multiple grades as most people can’t tell the difference anyways, what do you use in your car? Do you feel it makes a difference? I would like to know what the general consensus is when it comes to this.
