If Ebright was really against gain of function (GOF), he wouldn’t have been cool w/ the mandated Covid shots at Rutgers (where has huge pull). Until support for mandated zero liability “vaccine” countermeasures is stopped, there are unstoppable incentives for GOF.

Fauci funded Peter Daszak. Daszak funded gain of function research in Wuhan. Fauci claimed that never happened but we now know that it definitely did. Here's Daszak talking about gain of function research in 2016. In 2020 Daszak was chosen to lead the WHO team that investigated the origins of Covid. They didn't figure out the origin of Covid but they did rule out one possibility, that the virus came from the lab in Wuhan.

Whatever your politics, there is PLENTY of evidence the lab leak theory is true: 1) COVID-19 originated in Wuhan, which happens to be home to the most prominent lab for SARS-like viruses in the world. 2) In 2018, the Wuhan Institute of Virology (along with various partners, including the U.S.) submitted a grant to construct a virus that very closely resembled SARS-CoV-2. 3) Safety measures at the lab were very low. I don’t know what the answer is. But acting like the lab leak theory is a conspiracy in 2026 is a choice. We should all want the truth.
