This is an excerpt from the Feb 16 professional-development training session given to Toronto District School Board arts teachers at a downtown convention venue. I thought it was a religious service, but the speaker is apparently a self-described “spoken word poet & human rights activist from Tkaronto”

@tdsb I’m sure it’s better in the original German.

@tdsb At this point Canada seems like it’s gone way further than any other country in terms of extreme social justice politics. It’s like watching a cultural revolution in real time.

@tdsb I knew there was a good reason my kids had to miss school that day

@tdsb It's the most self-indulgent, narcissistic orgy of victimhood fetishization the world has ever known. Woke is literally the most first-world of all first-world problems.

@tdsb That's quite the "performance" by she/her student journalist. I'm so glad when someone is brave enough to record this nonsense. This waste of our tax dollars needs to be called out every time.

@tdsb Good people who are, or want to be, teachers must be suffering under this woke regime.

@tdsb This is reaching the point of parody by now. Is there no 'voice of reason' in the system that can counteract this nonsense?

@tdsb Any educator who speaks out about this or questions it is thrown under the bus by activist coworkers, co-opted administrators and their union. They remain silent because they have kids to feed and mortgages to pay.

@tdsb I would love to see a video of this, (to properly immerse myself in the performance)

@tdsb My educational tax dollars hard at work. But can the kids read, write, and do math?
