I made some calls today & it’s actually unclear as to whether or not Johnson can refuse to seat new house members. There’s also the risk of Republicans vacating him entirely before then & throwing the entire House into chaos again. I’m sure @RepJeffries is thinking of all of this too, but everyone needs to know how bad this could be — which is why it’s so important to VOTE REPUBLICANS OUT.

Good explainer… if the expectation was Trump and his minions would be seeking some kind of procedural legal-ish obstacle to subvert the certification. I won’t stop being worried until Inauguration Day. I can’t help it. Nonetheless, good explainer.
