New poll proves Rebel News is Canada's fastest growing news source Pollara, one of Canada's major polling companies, has released its fourth annual Trust in Media survey. The results show, for the fourth year in a row, Rebel News is getting stronger. Ezra Levant 🍁🚛 walked through the numbers on Wednesday's episode of The Ezra Levant Show. The number of Canadians who watch Rebel News daily has doubled in the past year, with 8% of Canadians now say they watch on most days, and another 14% watching occasionally — a combined reach of 22% of the country. For comparison, the Globe and Mail, founded in 1844, backed by millions in government subsidies, and owned by Canada's wealthiest oligarch, sits at 11% daily readership. "I think there's a real chance we'll catch up with them next year," Ezra said, "even though they've had a 171-year head start." The numbers among Gen Z are even more striking. In the 18- to 34-year-old demographic, 14% say they watch Rebel News on most days. The Globe and Mail's daily readership in that same age group is also 14%. "As many young people watch Rebel News as read the Globe," Ezra said. "Our little band of citizen journalists. Wow." He noted that Rebel News's marketing budget is close to zero, and growth has come entirely through word of mouth. The trust numbers tell a similar story. In 2023, Rebel News had a net trust score of minus 8 — meaning more Canadians distrusted it than trusted it. In 2026, that number is even. Among Canadians who actually watch Rebel News, the trust score has climbed from 57% to 72% over three years. The Globe and Mail's trust score among its own readers is 74%. "We're almost in a tie with them," Ezra said. Perhaps most surprisingly, Rebel News's net trust score among Liberal voters is minus 3. "Almost as many Liberals trust us as don't," Ezra said. Throughout its 11-year history, Rebel News has never taken a cent in government funding. Instead, Ezra noted the company has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars fighting the government over issues like censorship and defending journalists who have been arrested while on assignment. “Canadians notice,” Ezra said, “and they like it.”

🚨 Ezra Levant 🍁🚛 went to that Regina mosque that blasts the Muslim call to prayer It’s nuts. But it’s absolutely the kind of story that Rebel News was built to cover. A mosque in Regina wants to blast the Muslim call to prayer on loudspeakers pointed in all directions — loud enough to be heard a kilometre away. They did it last week for the first time and they want to do it every week. And Regina police have warned the public that if you aren’t careful with your criticism, you just might be prosecuted under Mark Carney’s new hate speech laws. It’s crazy. But the craziest part is who’s supporting this. It’s not just the mosque. It’s a left-wing church across the street. And it’s mainstream media journalists — who heckled me when I tried to ask legitimate questions of the imam. Canada was founded as a Christian country. It used to be standard practice for children to start the school day with the Lord’s Prayer. But in the 1990s a judge ordered Saskatchewan schools to stop, after activists complained it violated their freedom of religion. So Christianity was driven out of the public square. And now a Muslim imam has come to fill the void — with loudspeakers that can be heard across the downtown. What’s so crazy about the replacement of Christianity with Islam, is that one of the loudest boosters of it in Regina is a priest from the Anglican church right across the street from the mosque. I spoke with him, and he seems thrilled that the mosque will broadcast a message in Arabic, saying that Allah is the greatest and that there are no other gods but him. The only people more excited about all this were the journalists — including the Global News reporter who was wearing a hijab. It’s nuts. Things are really heating up in the world of women's professional basketball thanks to Sophie Cunningham's bravery in telling it like it is: men don't belong in women's sports. We couldn't miss the chance to add our voices to Sophie's. The time has come to tell the WNBA to keep women's basketball female. So our latest Public Service Announcement does just that. Now, you shouldn't have to be brave to make reality-based statements. But we know, during these absurd times, that any woman who speaks up for women and girls risks a lot. So our deep gratitude goes out to Serena Williams, Martina Navratilova and Sophie Cunningham whose words are featured in our latest video. And, while we're at it, we thank all the women athletes globally who've had the guts to proclaim out loud what everyone knows to be true: it's just not fair to pit males against females in sporting competitions. **We want to take our message to the streets again** You may recall our first PSA to Save Women's Sports debuted on the streets of Toronto last month and, wow, did we ever make a splash. I was surprised when I heard Criterion was doing Armageddon, 'cause I didn't think of it as that kind of movie when we did it. Um, and in retrospect now, I feel like maybe my best work in my career is the commentary on this disc. People approach me to talk about the commentary on this disc as much as they do like movies that I've been in. And it's because, um, I didn't know any better than to be really honest. But I won't spoil it for those of you who are interested. It... it... it is a... it is an... as an achievement that I'm proud of and didn't intend to be as good as I now think it is at the time. Central City News is a Republican ran news paper in Baton Rouge and they are saying the quiet part out loud. They believe they can elect a white Republican as mayor because the Black voter turnout is so low. They are looking at the same data I shared last week. I’ve been telling you the numbers because the power is there for us to make the difference. I believe you seeing this is important. It shows you the thinking of people who are voting Republican in this community think about you not voting. They see it as an opportunity. If voting didn’t matter, why are they breaking records to show up? The person in the mayors office determines what policing in your city looks like, they determine the budget priorities of the city, they set the agenda for where things are going. Everything we don’t have, is because we aren’t engaging at the numbers we need to. You can’t change a city, with only 30% of the majority population showing up to vote. Baton Rouge can be so much better, we have to show up for better to happen. Take the 5 minutes to listen and then take 10 more to text your people and encourage them to go vote tomorrow. We can prove them wrong. Louisiana is not a red state, it’s an under funded, low voter participation state. Show up for yourself tomorrow, that’s how we make people pay attention and invest so we can see the change we desire. Share, tag, and engage your people. And go vote!
