This is an interesting episode from yesterday’s House of Representatives plenary session. A good learning point for the Speaker, the member, and other new members.

Kai, kai, kai.... Why not engage a tutor or a guide from an old colleague (many of them will be willing to assist) a day before, before coming out to move a motion? Many of them have the House Rules, but will never read it. I like what Hon. Kalu said. They need to learn quickly.

If you watch closely, even the speaker was guided by the clerk. It’s not an issue tbh.

He’s very courageous, I bet most people even the elders would fell pressured and inferior in that condition and likely buried the agenda in their minds forever .. I think government can do well interms of televising house plenaries from state to federal and not just on NTA only .. I know NTA covers the plenaries every Wednesdays and Thursdays but other tv stations should make it an habit … Nigeria will be great if we all contribute positively to nation building

This man will make a very good member, it’s his first time and he had the confidence to move a motion, although he hasn’t understood the process. There is nothing embarrassing or bad about this👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Well.... I love his courage . He will learn from this and be better .. some people spent years after years in that chambers without raising any motion. 1st, He needs experienced aides . Secondly, he needs to learn from experienced members in the house on the house rules.

This shows he will be active. He has shown that right before their inauguration. He will get better.
