This lift, known to locals as “The Gambler” was installed 3 years ago and had to do rope evacuations the first 2 seasons stranding gusts for 45+ minutes. Whitefish Mountain Rsort and Leitner Poma released a video last year stating it was fixed with replaced parts boards etc. It just shut down again last Sunday for 20+ minutes in heavy snow which is always when it shuts down. At this point… it’s not even up for discussion that the lift is a major problem with ongoing engineering problems. Lift Blog had zero interest in the information provided but he’ll tell you about tariffs!🤡🤖
