“Having probes inserted up his rectum by female IDF who claimed the probe was soaked in pork blood.” Dr. Perlmutter (Mark Perlmutter MD), an American volunteer doctor in Gaza, says Israeli forces brutally tortured his Palestinian colleague, an orthopedic surgeon. They crushed his fingers, threatened him with the gang rape of his wife, and female Israeli security officers raped him — because he refused to lie and say he was a member of Hamas.

Dr. Caleb Masterson say health insurance companies are openly breaking laws in Alabama He explains some of his patients situations with insurance companies - “I had an insurance company tell a patient that no authorization for the procedure was required, the procedure was performed, and then the patient was denied the care because the procedure was never authorized. So the patient got charged the entire cost of the procedure” - “I had another patient who is supposed to be due an answer to an insurance claim within 30 days of submission. If they do not reply within 30 days, that's breaking Alabama law. And that claim is currently at the 65th day, so its insurance can be breaking the law.” - “Then I had an insurance company deny care to a patient that they had previously approved. So a patient qualified for surgery based on medical necessity, they had met all the criteria for surgery, they underwent surgery, then the patient had that surgery denied. The patient submitted that information to the insurance company and said, Hey, look, this was already pre-approved. And they said, We reversed our decision and the patient had to pay.”

Fistula surgery is performed to treat an anal fistula, an abnormal tunnel that forms between the inside of the anal canal and the skin around the anus. This condition usually develops after an infection or abscess that fails to heal properly. During surgery, the goal is to remove the infected tunnel completely and allow the tissue to heal from the inside out, preventing the infection from coming back. The most common procedure is called fistulotomy, where the surgeon carefully opens the fistula tract so it can drain and heal naturally.

I've watched this a few times, and have questions - 1 - the patient asked the surgeon to film it, everyone is OK with, and she puts it on her own tiktok...Wow? 2 - why not get the guy in the dark blue to hand him the tube? 3 - why a Miller blade? (never used one in an adult)

Mike Brown was the last person picked on our bantam team at 14 years old. And he was the only player to make it to the NHL. Let me repeat… He was the last player picked to our team at 14… and made it farther than anyone else on that team. How? By not comparing his journey to anyone else’s and by outworking everyone ahead of him. For all the kids out there who may feel out of it - this is how it’s done. Control the things you can control. And GET. TO. WORK. A lot of really talented players get passed by absolute workers when all is said and done. Mike is a great example, and it was so awesome talking to him about his journey on our latest podcast episode.

🇧🇷 APPLE VISON PRO ADOPTED BY BRAZILIAN SURGEON For the first time in Brazil, a surgeon successfully used an Apple Vision Pro headset to optimize a surgical procedure. Surgeon, Bruno Gobbato: "Shoulder arthroscopy surgery uses a camera inside the joint and surgeons perform it by looking directly at a screen. With this device, I was able to see the image on the size of a movie screen with high resolution, as well as being able to see the patient's exams and 3D models in real-time." Experts expect the device to be used routinely in Brazilian healthcare soon. Source: MacMagazine

This is the anatomy of a potential life-saving insurance claim denial, the patient is a physician, her surgeon is on the line trying to get approval for a procedure that will lower her risk lymphedema from 40% down to 10% The peer review doctors on the call, One is an eye doctor and the other is a “cosmetic” plastic surgeon neither one has any expertise in this field, they are only on the call to give the appearance of qualified oversight, this is just a formality the denial is allegedly based in the cake.
