How, as a multi billion dollar company, does the NFL not have a laser going straight up to tell if the kick is good?

This not being a reviewable play is ridiculous

The NFL is rigged Missed delay of game Phantom DPI Missed XP

That's not even the biggest mess up. They should've never been able to get that extra point if the officials did their job and called the delay of game on Houston and didn't call a phantom penalty where Moore didn't even touch the WR.

That’s still not a good angle. Why even post this lmao.

You are assuming the camera is straight down the line… which it definitely is not. So you don’t know when it crosses the goalpost.

NFL needs to investigate this and start fining these refs

If you don’t know, why wouldn’t you trust the ref who is standing right under one of the poles? The net is at least 10 yards behind the crossbars, so if the ball keeps hooking it will look like a miss

They called it good bc there is still a certain agenda in nfl for certain qb's to be in playoffs. You can not change my mind.

Pretty sure the dude standing under the upright has the best view

There is a ref standing directly under the outside edge of that goal post. When the ball passes over the top, if he can't see the ball, it's good. Best seat in the house and better than any replay angle.

Not to mention HOU had just scored a GW TD off a 3rd and 15 pass interference where the WR slipped on his own 😂. Just a garbage product the NFL is

The valuation of the entire @NFL is around $228 billion and we can’t get cameras at every needed angle that could affect the outcome of a game? How is that possible like really? How is there not a camera angle for every first down line, endzone, sideline, field goal post? Wtf

That’s not even a different angle. It’s the original one zoomed in

@NFL if you're gonna fix games at least make it less obvious!!!!

There are no camera angles that can tell if it was good. The technology exists, of course, but it is not in place. As such, nobody is in a better position to make the determination than the ref directly underneath the post.

Why don’t all goalposts have lasers that shoot upward during kicks?

It’s impossible to tell from any camera angle we’ve seen whether it was good or not. What we do know is that it was close either way. The best vantage point would be for someone standing right below the upright - like the ref was. And no matter what, it’s going to be a judgment call. Absent any clear evidence that it wasn’t good (and we have no clear evidence), we have to rely on the ref who had the best vantage point and stop getting so worked up about it.

I'll say it again...why the @NFL doesn't have Hawkeye, or lasers on the goalposts, or SOMETHING to make this definitive, I'll never understand. There have been SEVERAL of these this year alone. It's not like they don't have the money to do it.

Profilbild von tekjnbo

i don’t understand how it’s 2025 and we still don’t have a camera which looks directly up from inside the goal post

What’s so hard about putting lasers at the top of the field goal post so if a ball passes over the top, you’ll see the laser in which within rule it a missed field goal

That ball hit the GROUND outside the upright 😭 How do you call that good and then say it’s unreviewable? NFL officiating is performance art at this point.

You need to understand the cameras angle. When you see the football block the post, it has travelled well passed the uprights already and it was moving to your visual right and thus, was (IMHO Likely) left of the upright as it passed through them.

Refs were terrible all day. Ghost DPI on Kenny, non DPI called for AP drive after, JT got a facemask not called. Texans had a sub and he’s was 2 yards on our side of the scrimmage when ball was snapped…guess what No flag
