Please explain what is bad about the chair of the Fed. Please. Just tell us in detail what he has done that is bad.

the actual link to the video she references for those curious. and while I absolutely agree, i think it's less "JPow bad" and more "the Fed has dumb targets" (which you tackle in the longer video). but this simple and good and me like

@Sunni_in_SoCal Yea you need to get way more detailed because you don't mention the FOMC nor the 12 regional banks. & act as if Powell runs a dictatorship at the fed when it's the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) that sets policy & rates that they all vote on.

You’re so stupid you got fired from the Hill because Robbie dunked on your poorly informed takes every week. You should just start onlyfans so you can provide value for a few more years.

Jerome is “bad” because anyone that sits as the chair of the fed is inherently bad because the fed is a fundamentally bad institution that should not exist in the first place

I guess I'm just confused as to why this video needs to exist... Did the news of the indictment spur the left to come to Powell's defense as some saint? And this is to help teach the uninformed TDS reactionary people, that Powell isn't good just because Trump is bad?

kinda funny she needs to talk to fellow progressives likes toddlers , but normie midcurve ideologues like jessica like to use this tactic of ( unimaginative ) humor as defensible cover for their own ignorance . it's actually quite hard to reach this magnitude of misinformation .

Jessica, the hand gestures really drive the point home 😅 Genuine question for the timeline: If the Fed's mandate includes maximum employment alongside price stability, why does it seem acceptable (even expected) to deliberately cool the labor market and suppress wage growth when inflation is mostly supply-side/tariff-driven rather than classic demand-pull overheating? Are we quietly accepting a hierarchy where 2% inflation is non-negotiable, but full employment is just an aspirational footnote? Curious what others think, especially anyone working in industries getting hammered by both higher borrowing costs & softening demand right now. Would love to hear perspectives from different sides of this.

what an odd take. if you have a problem with the fed, sure. but jerome does his job in a nonpartisan way. there is a real tradeoff between inflation and jobs (in a bad system) and it’s not an easy task. too much inflation is just as bad. even conflating trump and powell is stupid

The Fed's job is to ensure price stability and low unemployment. They did a fucking great job with this the last years, if you compare it with the performance of other central banks over the world (esp. ECB). Reminder: full-employment in US means ~4% are unemployed. Theyre at 4.4

Why is a woman talking about FED policy when she is clearly retarded. I know she thinks she’s cute. But the FED is fucked. We are bankrupt. Period. It’s all bad and never will be good. The end
