Stephen A. Smith reveals a former football player with his own podcast told him the “truth ain’t meant to be told” when Republicans do something right. This story begins in Vegas, when the football player confronted Smith, saying: “Yo, man, you sound like one of them [Republican].” Smith replied: “I don’t give a damn what you say I sound like.” The football player got brutally honest with Smith and said: “Look, bro, let me, let me keep it a buck with you and just tell it to you like this.” “We are living in very serious times.” “‘The truth ain’t meant to be told sometimes.’” That last statement stopped Smith in his tracks.
