Shocking... In front of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, AAP MLA Gagroop Singh Gill from Bathinda admitted that he signed the Anti-Sacrilege Bill without reading it. This raises two serious questions: Is Punjab being run from Delhi, with MLAs expected to sign or pass bills without even reading them? Is there no room for dissent or independent judgment within the party?

Yesterday was one of the darkest days of my life. I received the heartbreaking news that a 20-year-old girl, like a sister to me and the daughter of a daily wage worker at our fields, was brutally murdered in a dowry case. She was married just last year. Her family had already given a Bullet motorcycle worth ₹2.5 lakh by selling off their household valuables. But the in-laws began demanding a car and when the family couldn’t meet this demand, they killed her. I visited the grieving family yesterday. They are shattered and demanding justice, yet the culprits are still free and have not been arrested. I earnestly request the authorities to take immediate action. This case must set an example such cruelty cannot be allowed to continue in our society. I am available to assist in any way, and welcome any officer who wishes to visit and speak to the family. We hope and pray that justice is served swiftly and decisively.🙏🏻 Raj Gill BATHINDA POLICE Bathinda Range Police DGP Punjab Police DC Bathinda Deepika Narayan Bhardwaj Dr. Sanjukta Basu, M.A., LLB., PhD
