Honestly Norway, I can’t find the words for this parade. The people of Norway are genuinely one of the best on this planet. Look at the sheer number of people who turned out for this parade alongside the players. I’ve never seen anything quite like this in my life. A team that just ended their run reaching the quarter-finals of the World Cup didn’t win the trophy and yet they’re coming home to be celebrated like this? Man, this is beyond beautiful. I’ve lived in New York for years and I’ve never seen this before. ⚡️ The sky was completely dark, but the same spot kept flashing over and over again with no thunder that I could hear. My best guess is distant lightning from a storm far enough away that the thunder isn’t reaching the city, but I’ve honestly never watched it happen like this before. Does anyone know if that’s what we’re looking at, or is there another explanation? 👀
