He has to be one of the very few decent refs. Thought I’d hate this ref cam thing when it came out but it actually helps appreciate how difficult it is to do it properly.

fascinating that Murphy's appeal was listened to and led to a check. Just goes to show that players do need to shout and claim for everything or you get nothing.

I think everything is checked as that's why the ref is constantly talking to his assistants and VAR about what he's seen then they can advise against if needed

@Ramma_____ I thought it was quite well refereed overall to be honest. Even the call for their goal to be disallowed. Not one person saw it in the entire ground bar the ref, and it turned out to be right. Fair play

@Ramma_____ I do like it. But it dos frustrate me a little that the referee has to give a running commentary of his thought process to the VAR officials and not the players. You never hear him speak to the players while the game is going on - which I always feel is what makes a ref great
