This is confusing… more muscle but less power?

In pull ups, your weight matters more than your muscle

The 2nd guy clearly trains on the bar…there’s different forms of strength

It's why all gymnasts are short. They are moving waaay less weight.

It’s called neural daptation. If you do any specific movement over and over your brain figures out more effective muscle fiber firing rates and sequences.

Not confusing at all. While I was in the military I had usable abs. I didn’t have a chiseled 6 pack but my core was noticeably stronger than some of the guys with an 8 pack. Also, people that use “enhancers” theme to bulk up and look big but lack actual strength.

1. Strength training is not the same as hypertrophy training. 2. More muscles = more weight.

This lady just discuss the incident when she gets home😂

Better form, better fast-twitch muscle fibers & less weight to lift.

It's not confusing at all. Have you ever seen a bulky professional climber? They are all thin frames.

Someone said gravity doesn’t really affect short people

The right muscles are needed for the right task. A good story: my father used to work at an ice plant, grabbing ice from the ground and lifting them around. The potato farmers were used to grabbing potato sacks from trucks onto their shoulders. Neither could do the other's task.

Muscle-ups should never be a focal point of elite strength. Stick to squats and deadlifts.

All about Weight / Strength ratio? 😈

Not confusing at all. There is a difference between mass and functional power. If you do calisthetics, you are simply stronger. You can bench if oyu want to and train for it too. Look at Anatoli for example. Muscles to function properly do not need to be super bulk.

Bro was surprised that's when he knew he really fvcked up and was short of words.

I arm wrestled a big guy at a party. He was walking around with his big muscles challenging everyone to an arm wrestle. I beat him and he got mad at himself saying what good are all these muscles for. 🤣

Muscles are built strength is earned. Kinda like legos.

Amazing core strength 👏

They work out different muscle sets, pull ups use muscles that are different from other typical muscle workouts.

Weight.

Big Muscles Mean You Just Exercised That Muscle. It Has Nothing To DoWith Strength Or Stamina.

Not how far, but how well

Do these people know how ridiculous they look using children's playgrounds to film their videos?

calisthenics>>>

Size doesn't always equal strength because "bodybuilding" focuses on making muscle fibers larger (hypertrophy), while "power" depends on how effectively your nervous system recruits those fibers

It’s actually not that confusing—what it really is comes down to how well you can use your muscle, not just how much you have. That’s why you see the smaller guy doing insane pull-up bar work while the bigger guy can’t. The smaller athlete has: • better neural drive • higher relative strength • more control and coordination The bigger athlete has more muscle—but not necessarily the ability to express it. Power = strength × speed × coordination. If your nervous system isn’t trained for that, the extra size just sits there. That’s the kind of strength I focus on teaching—getting more out of your muscle than just making it bigger.

Nothing confusing on that. GYM rats are just a pumped clowns with no real power and nothing more. Real beauty and strength is in a calisthenics.

It's two different things but people fail to understand.

bigger size doesn't mean "more".

The bigger guy does not have more muscle where it actually matters for this exercise

Bro has been practicing since he was in the womb
