@BBCNews @LizaShuvalova @AntonChicherov thank you for the great reporting, as always Steve! Wish it was under much different circumstances tho :(

@BBCNews @LizaShuvalova @AntonChicherov At least Gershkovich is alive. Unlike Russia Israel murders journalists it doesn’t like - over 120’so far, and the BBC journalists’ silence has been deafening.

@BBCNews @LizaShuvalova @AntonChicherov Maybe don't travel 2000km inside Russia to a classified military arms factory during wartime and ask workers what they are making, at the obvious behest of the CIA. He was spying.

@BBCNews @LizaShuvalova @AntonChicherov What @elonmusk saying?

Journalist of The Wall Street Journal Evan Gershkovich was sentenced to 16 years in prison in a maximum security colony for espionage. The decision was made by the Sverdlovsk court. Gershkovich did not admit his guilt. The court ruled that in March 2023, on instructions from the CIA, the journalist collected secret information in the Sverdlovsk region about the work of Uralvagonzavod, where military equipment is produced and repaired. Gershkovich was detained in Yekaterinburg on March 29 last year. Then the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that the correspondent was caught red-handed

@BBCNews @LizaShuvalova @AntonChicherov A show trial under a fascist Dictatorship, supported by millions of Nazis dreaming of russia's Grandure. What could go wrong?

@BBCNews @LizaShuvalova @AntonChicherov Be careful Steve , I enjoy your unique look behind the curtain, but take care of yourself

@BBCNews @LizaShuvalova @AntonChicherov Sham? You mean like Trump sham trials?🤦♂️

@BBCNews @LizaShuvalova @AntonChicherov Can WSJ please explain what Evan was doing in Yekaterinburg 2000 km away from the capital of Russia?

@BBCNews @LizaShuvalova @AntonChicherov The WSJ would say that, wouldn't they?
