I usually hate this comparison because thats one game with stolen assets and it only needed to make those animations for like 30 pokemon tops. But, at this point Digimon proved that you can give 450+ unique and good animations to monster catcher games and still thrive.

I am not going to argue that people don't make better looking Pokemon games, or that mobile games have massive support now. I would just say that alot of those games while looking nice are usually just slop with no soul.
