9.5% tax for living in Chicago. They should credit you 9.5% for living in that shithole.

Who in the F would pay $1460/month for 5 years to buy a car that barely makes it to 5 years without falling apart. Stop buying these cars.

That's a high interest rate for someone with good credit.

A salesman with a common sense conscience?!? Bullshit, there's more to this! A salesman at a car dealership will sell you anything just to make a sale! They'll throw in their mother if it meant making a sale! And this guy is coming across like he's all concerned and baffled about the purchase??? BS, to these kind of guys they don't matter if this car is right for you or not. They just want you to sign on the line which is dotted!

He got fleeced at 7.79% with very good credit. Should’ve shopped around for a better rate.

Bought a 2011 in 2011, 2SS manual transmission. $40k. Daily driver in Utah, sucked in the snow but I loved it then and still love her now best car I’ve owned and I’ve owned a lot. But this was the keeper. She’s still in my garage.

My buddy had a ZL1 so I got to spend a fair amount of time riding in one. It is an awesome sports car and performance wise a straight up great deal at $69,000. Very few cars have that performance at twice the cost. But. And it’s a big one. It is a poor daily driver. Literally zero practical rear legroom. Poor visability. It’s about as low to the ground as legally possible. Drinks oil with supercharger blow by. It does have a decent trunk and its suspension is rather amazing. It corners dead flat with a firm spectacular performance suspension but absorbs small bumps amazingly well. Pretty comfortable weelemd grocery getter or touring car on windy roads. Ferrari eater and humbler on the track in the right hands.

Look, the ZL1 is a good car for the price but for almost $1500 per month (with insurance, probably $1800); this is fucking INSANE. High interest rates (8% APR… fuck outta here). And tariffs have ruined the modern car experience. I feel so bad for any young guys getting into the hobby, it’s been ruined and there are very little affordable starter hobby cars. Covid ruined everything.

He could have bought 3 homes and rented 2 out for profit to pay for the other he lived in for free. Then gone and bought a utility vehicle and wrote it off as a maintenance vehicle. Wtf is wrong with people?!!

RWD in the winter with good winter tires is no issue. I drove my RWD manual Genesis G70 all winter in Alberta one winter and loved it. The real issue comes with ride height with that thing. I have a CT4-V Blackwing now and it's too low, like this Camero

7.79%!!!!!! If you sign that you're a dumbass. Plus you have $7,000 for just the tax?? You can keep that POS. I'll be buying mine somewhere the tax is not that high and the dealer isn't trying to screw me over with the ridiculous interest. No thanks pal.

My old boss had the 1st or 2nd year, before the gay ass touch screen, only down side is the tires from the factory were not rated below like 40° or something. Yea, we were in the panhandle of Texas, zero is common. 4 tires, back wider than the front and directional, cannot rotate. Not a daily in like 60% of the country lol

Never ever agree on the dealerships sticker price! Remember principle is between 0-13% . If the sales/Business Manager doesn't work around the % then your being hosed and that isn't a dealership, it's a con shop.

7.79% at 60 months is insane! First any dealer that says we don’t typically drive these is scum! My favorite one of my vehicles to drive is my 2003 Duramax, first vehicle I bought new and the thing is bulletproof at 450k miles on it and o live in New England, but was living in the south when I bought it. But now I have done super well in life and own a wealth management firm with a couple billion in in AUM. Every year I will spend 300-400k on a new car for tax reasons and to hold an image with clients. I had someone say that to me buying a Porsche a couple years ago. By the end of the day I had the sales person and managers job. Within a week I had the dealer principle’s management accounts in my AUM portfolio, which pays me 10x the cost of the car each year. But this is all bc these dipshits judged a book by its cover. Don’t be a shitty a person, if the customer wants to drive it first cool. No one expects to buy a new car with zero miles unless it is an order.
